How do you make decisions for your own life?

▪️ Are you ready to change careers? Do you have the skillset to pick up new ones? 
▪️ Are you ready to change the way you do your business? 
▪️ Do you need support from others and will they follow you? 
▪️ Are you ready to make some significant commitments? 
▪️ How do you know when the time is right? 
▪️ Can you handle the stress of uncertainty (the possibility of losing your job) for longer than a week? 
▪️ Are you prepared for the emotional journey that can follow from changing the status quo? 
▪️ Can you be open to a totally new way of doing business or living? 
▪️ What are the unintended consequences – does this plan have a chance of blowing up in your face before you’ve even started? 
▪️ How do you know when to stop? 
▪️ Will this last a season or a lifetime? Or even longer? 
▪️Do you have a backup plan or are you ready to go all in and make it happen? 
 
These are a few questions to ask yourself to guide you through the below 7 step decision-making process. 
 
1) Analyse your current position and take stock of your strengths and weaknesses (financially, mentally and emotionally). 
2) Evaluate your support system. (family, friends and mentors) 
3) Figure out your life and career goals. 
4) Available resources to reach goals. It could be skills or finances or even timelines. 
5) Prepare your execution plan. 
6) Evaluate and mitigation plan. 
7) Execute 
 
Decisions are easy to take but difficult to live by when it fails. So always plan for it.
